# Discovering Billboards

\
**4.1 How Billboards Work**

Each billboard on Link Blank is created by a Content Maker for a specific piece of content — a post, video, or announcement. Billboards contain a set number of **ad card slots**, each of which can be booked by an Advertiser. The number of slots per billboard is set by the Content Maker.

Billboards display a **pricing model** and a **minimum price** set by the Content Maker. You will see these details before confirming any booking.

**4.2 Finding a Billboard to Book**

**Option A — Direct Search** If you have the billboard's **Link Blank number**, you can search for it directly from the booking panel on your dashboard. Enter the number in the **Search Billboard** field to locate it.

**Option B — Discover Billboards** Click **Discover Billboards** in your dashboard navigation to browse the open marketplace. When marketplace slots are available, the relevant action buttons on billboards will become active.

**4.3 Visiting a Billboard Page**

When you visit a billboard, you will see:

* The billboard's **title**, **category**, and content details shared by the creator.
* The **pricing model** (Per Hour or Per Impression, depending on what the creator has configured).
* The **minimum price** required to place a booking.
* The **ad card slots** — each slot shows either an existing ad (if booked) or an open invitation to place yours.
* An **ad impressions counter** reflecting engagement on that billboard.
**4.4 Trying a Sticker (Preview Before You Commit)**

Before committing to a paid booking, you can try a **temporary sticker** placement:

1. On an open ad card slot, click **Place your ad**.
2. A panel will appear with the same creative fields (title, description, image, destination URL).
3. Click **Try a sticker** to place a temporary, removable preview of your ad on the billboard.

> **Important:** A sticker is a temporary, removable placement. It does not constitute a confirmed booking and will not remain on the billboard permanently. To secure your ad space, you must complete a paid booking.

**4.5 Booking an Ad Card Slot**

1. On the billboard page, click **Place your ad** on the ad card slot you want to book.
2. A **Book Ad Space** panel will open, showing:
 * **Ad Card Position** — The specific slot number you are booking.
* **Billboard** — The billboard name.
* **Pricing Model** — How the creator charges (Per Hour or per the billboard's set model).
* **Minimum Price** — The lowest acceptable bid for this slot.
3. From the **Select Your Ad** dropdown, choose one of your approved ad creatives.
4. Enter your **Number of Hours** for the booking duration.
5. Review the **total amount** displayed — this is calculated from your chosen hours multiplied by the price, and must meet or exceed the minimum price.
6. Click **Confirm Booking** to finalize and complete payment.

> **Please note:** After your booking is confirmed, your ad copy does not appear on the billboard immediately. Each ad card displays the earliest active booking's creative by default. Your ad will become visible when it is your booking's turn in the queue.

**4.6 Premiere Billboards**

Some billboards are set up as **Premiere** billboards — they are opened by Content Makers for upcoming content before it is published. Booking a Premiere billboard allows your ad to be live the moment the content drops and audience traffic begins.

When booking on a Premiere billboard, the booking form will show the **scheduled premiere time** so you can plan accordingly.

**4.7 Reserve Next Window (Premium Feature)**

On some billboards, you may see a **Reserve Next Window** option. This is a premium feature that allows you to reserve the upcoming advertising period on a slot before it becomes available to others.

> This feature is available on select package tiers. If the button appears grayed out or inactive, your current package does not include Next Window Booking. Upgrading your package will unlock this capability.
